With close to 30 years of outdoor and bicycle industry experience Tim offers a unique perspective in the Ashland bicycle market.

Tim first worked for an outdoors store as well as a bicycle shop while going to college in San Luis Obispo, CA. From there, he moved back to Sacramento and again worked in outdoors stores and bicycle shops in both Davis and Sacramento.   Tim managed a new bicycle store for 3 years in Marin County, then a couple more bike shops before working for Wilderness Trail Bikes and Marin Mountain Bikes. He spent a short time in Portland as general manager of a bike parts distributor before moving to Ashland.

Once in Ashland he spent 6 years as an instructor at United Bicycle Institute before becoming an outside sales representative before purchasing Ashland Street Bikes and renaming it to Ashland Bicycle Works. Throughout his time on the roads of the NW as a sales rep for De Rosa and Titus bikes along with clothing and accessory companies, he realized that there were many cool products that hadn’t found their way to the Rogue Valley and that became the basis of wanting to open a store in the Rogue Valley.
